1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by UK Benefits Help (“I”, “me”, “my”) to you (“you”, “client”). By engaging my services, you agree to these terms.

I am a Welfare Benefits Officer. I am not a regulated immigration adviser and I do not provide legal advice.

2. What I do

I provide practical welfare benefits support, including:

  • Help understanding benefits entitlement
  • Help completing benefits application forms
  • Help gathering evidence for benefits claims
  • Translation and form-filling support
  • Digital assistance with online accounts and apps
  • Signposting to regulated immigration advisers or official guidance
  • Accompaniment to meetings with regulated advisers

3. What I cannot do

I cannot and will not:

  • Advise on immigration status or whether your immigration status allows you to claim benefits
  • Advise on right to reside or challenge benefit decisions on immigration grounds
  • Prepare or submit immigration applications or appeals
  • Communicate with the Home Office on your behalf regarding immigration matters
  • Represent you in immigration tribunal proceedings

If your case involves immigration questions, I will refer you to a regulated immigration adviser.

4. Fees and payment

Pricing

My fee is £60 per service.

A “service” is defined as one distinct piece of work, such as:

  • Helping you complete one benefits application form
  • Helping you gather evidence for one claim
  • Providing translation support for one set of documents
  • Helping you prepare for one meeting or assessment

If your case requires multiple services, each is charged separately at £60.

Payment terms

  • Payment is required in advance via bank transfer.
  • I will provide my bank details when we agree to proceed.
  • Work will not commence until payment has cleared.
  • I do not accept cash or card payments.

No commitment to outcomes

I provide my services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 . However:

  • I do not guarantee any specific outcome or result.
  • Decisions about benefits are made by the DWP, HMRC, local authorities, or other decision-making bodies.
  • I help you prepare and present your case, but I cannot control the decision.

5. Your right to cancel

14-day cancellation period

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your agreement within 14 days of entering into it .

If you cancel within 14 days

  • If I have not started work, you will receive a full refund of any payment made.
  • If I have started work at your request before the cancellation period ends, you will be charged a proportionate amount for the work completed. The remainder will be refunded.
  • To cancel, you must inform me clearly by email or WhatsApp. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.

If you cancel after 14 days

If you cancel after the 14-day period, no refund will be provided for work already completed. If work has not yet started, I may retain a reasonable amount to cover administrative costs.
